Test generator stator with a multimeter or continuity tester?
I need to test my portable generator stator. I think it is bad due to inverse feedback. I replaced the bridge amplifier. Bridge has two wires and cables of the amplifier 5 to the power outlet (2 neutral, 2 hot and soil) need only determine if it is bad for me to order a new one. I have taken the rotor is not bad. Thanks for any advice.
You have to check each individual settlement with an ohmmeter. Perhaps it is not easy to separate the coils. A good visual inspection may be all that is needed. For a stator is damaged, normally have to have become very hot. It will be visible. Look for burned areas burned on the deck or varnish if the coils are not covered.
