Audio Speaker
How I can extend an audio speaker cable?
I have an RCA home theater system. The rear speaker cable is too short. I would like extend the cable. I bought the speaker wire, but I wonder how I should connect the end of the two wires together. I know that the movie is a quick solution, but do not think it will help with sound quality. Should I seek some kind of connector or the system to tie the two wires together? Thank you.
the tape will be fine ... just pull the cable enough that you can twist the two ends together and then tape them. or you can get cable crimps the retailer where you put each end a connector cable, then fold down to hold them tight. In most cases if you mess with all that quality is the noise that is incapable now highend hearing anyway if it affects at all. But it should be fine. I can install all my radios and make my home with crimps and twist wire and tape
