Cardioid Dynamic Microphone
My microphone does not work. What should I do?
I just bought a brand new micro target. I tried my microphone in my old computer and it does not work, so I tried this one and it can not capture the sound. Do I need to download a driver or something else? Here is information: Brand: Samson M1 Microphone Frequency response: 80 Hz - 12 kHz Polar pattern: Cardioid Output Impedance: Rated at 500 ohms Sensitivity: -59 DB + - 3dB My Voice recording device (computer): SB Live! Your problem may be hardware related rather than software. Your plug microphone in the microphone port or a USB port. If this is the microphone port, it is possible that the connection to the motherboard is broken. If it's a USB microphone, try to connect another type of USB device into the USB port to see if the USB port works. If required drivers to use the microphone, there should be instructions for the microphone. Odds are, however, that if two microphones failed in the port itself, the question is your port.
