Aluminum Information and the Process of Aluminum Casting
Aluminum is a metal that among those who may be "cast" for each process used in metal casting. These processes, in descending order of quantity of aluminum casting are: die casting, permanent molding, casting sand, plaster casting, investment casting and continuous casting. The casting process is selected based on factors such as cost, feasibility, quality, etc.
Feasibility is not a problem, since all the above methods are quite feasible. However, the most suitable casting method can be decided according to the design features or dimensions. The first is that they constitute a set of sand, pouring the metal cast on it and break once the product is formed. Lost-foam pattern is to place an expendable polystyrene pattern in the mold. The rest of the procedure is the same casting as a conservative arena.
