It really depends on the conditions under which it must be used and individual taste of the singer and sound engineer. A wireless high quality useful if the singer held the microphone rather than keep them on a stand. Momentum is preferable to a condenser use phase, as opposed to Recording Studio. A large (classical) general purpose microphone voice for the stage is the Shure SM58. It is very robust and versatile and has a well with voice. WK
