What is the best way to record using a large condenser mic?
I recently bought a 100 membrane large condenser microphone, it is what it looks like http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Live/Sound/Microphones/Wireless?sku=271242 if is helpful, but I want to know what you think would be best to record an acoustic guitar with the microphone? should I put the microphone in front of the canopy? or should I use the back of the microphone or the microphone up to get a different sound? or when the guitar that I should deal with the microphone? suggestions on how to register your fav Thanks to this kind of micro will help me a lot, Thanks!
