Condenser Microphone Pair
MUSICIANS HELP! Home Studio Equipment?!?
boyfriend anniversary of my approach. He is passionate about his music seriously, therefore, is determined to make a real home studio. Knowing that the studio equipment is very expensive, I tried to find microphones condensed (preferably with a stand), or a really great studio headphones. I went shopping online, amazon.com has some pretty good. However, I 'm not sure some of the brands. I'm looking for something under $ 200.00. I was really interested in Dr. Dre's Beats headphones, however 350.00 A bit pricey for a single pair of headphones. I also checked Craigslist, not the greatest choice. Some brands I am not sure it will the highest quality. I found a couple, called Apex & Omnitronix, those are good brands for studio equipment? Links would appreciated! 
I tried to find a package deal, one with a headset and a microphone condensed, or one who comes with a capacitor on the side. Suggestions?
I strongly recommend not to buy the headphones by Dr. Dre Beat for him. These headphones are "hype" that would throw bass outside the studio and would not be right because the bass in the headphones. I have a pair of AKG K240. These are high quality studio headphones with excellent frequency response. The pair I own has been interrupted, but they arrived with a new series called the K240 MKII. These are all as important or even better quality and about $ 200. A good pair of headphones is very difficult to find in this price range. AKG is also very good condenser microphones. The best thing about condenser microphones is to buy in a store and not online. Maybe tell him you want buy him a microphone and take him to a shop Pro Audio. And he choose. They will test him and hear how the sounds from the microphone. Each microphone has a different sound. Or you can do with a helmet. What seems good for me may not sound good to you or to him since we all have different ways of hearing. Regarding brands Apex Omnitronix. I can not tell you much because I have no experience with them. Also with packages on the helmet and capacitors, I do not think they really are those who often and if they do they will be of poor quality. Another side note with condenser microphones avoid microphone that says he is "Electret Condenser Microphone. They are very poor quality and do not very good in recording. Good luck.
