ive got a Peavey fx24 mixer, and it has Digital Effects. can someone explain what to do these effects?
The mixer has Sound Effects like compression, Gate, DSP and many more. I need to somehow collapse.
Wow. Are you still awake? This mixer is the performance in live applications used to mix a Live. The different effects are designed to improve performance. A compressor will get only the sound, so loud, you think of him as an automatic Volume Control. If the sound is too loud, the compressor automatically turns it down. A gate is a noise reducer, it works the opposite of a compressor. If no sound is, there is the right volume, so no hiss in the quiet spots. DSP is everything from reverb and delay, chorus and flange. These effects are used to the sound of a performance to improve by the addition of space with echo and doubling effects. sparingly and in combination with each other, these effects can make the difference between a lackluster Performance and one that really stands out.
