Good music editing software / mixing.?

I have a Digital Multi-tracker and took off everything and put it on my PC I have now compiling the Tracks. Can someone give me some ideas on good software to use?

You can not just the price of Audacity, but if you want something a little more advanced check Adobe Audition. Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU / Linux and other operating systems.
