Camcorder Download Edition - The video is not downloaded in MS Movie Maker etc, while acknowledging the camera?
I've been down videos my Canon camcorder via FireWire. Suddenly, the camera was not being recognized. I had the camera service is working well. I disabled and enabled the 1394 through the bios, which resulted in connecting the camera to be recognized once again. I did a system restore before my last video download, no joy. MS Movie Maker recognizes the connection, (as does Nero, etc), rewind the tape for you but as soon as the video The transfer starts the screen turns into a mass of lines and I have to reboot the system. At a time when the system had crashed, but there was no image under MS film preview and archive material manufacturer are not registered. It seems that the firewire and graphics are integral to the motherboard. I ordered a board firewire separately to see if that solves the problem or is it a graphics problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks
not provide information VCAM enough about the type. videos miniDV or Digital 8 vcams could be "captured" by any video editing application as wmmaker. But video Hi-8 has to first convert to digital before it can be copied and used for editing.
