dj sets record without using the computer?
We used to have a laptop, now all we have is a desktop and I have not really want to drag out in the garage to record sets. I've seen something called the gemini iKEY also supposed to record audio directly to your iPod, however, not available in any store where I am located. Is there anything else out there that can accomplish the same feat of around the same price? ($ 150) Thanks in advance!
The soon-to-be-launched by Belkin TuneStudio is an Audio Mixer that records four channels directly on your iPod, and then stream to your desktop via USB. It has 3-band EQ on each channel for each XLR input and a stereo compressor, so you have the option to directly connect the turntable to the mixer TuneStudio - leaving less to lug around. Of course, if you have a pioneer or a Vestax mixer, or something more superior way, you can hook TuneStudio that up too. Retail price will be $ 199, not much more than what you're looking for. You should try to get a spare.
