Hip-hop sampling question ...?
When producers or beat makers create drum loops, where to find his kicks and snares? Does it show the old records with a drum of distribution? Moreover, when people dig in boxes of records, you know what they are looking for, or what a record is selected with the intuition to be sampled as well?
CoSign Rice. Old school producers like to use battery banks, etc. A lot of DJ equipment to do it very often nowadays and in my opinion lack a vital element of music production process. As for sampling and search a break or a particular sample, the general rule is the more listening material (and the broader the scope), the largest and only their samples will be. A many other producers are proud to be unable to recognize or find in the original sample comes. It's like a cat and mouse musicians.
