Microphone System
Can I connect a microphone to a home theater system?
Basically, I want to do is be able to connect a DVD player and a microphone in something, and have sound come out. Whether a converter with a home theater system or a type converter with PA speakers, everything is well. The settings "" needs to be powerful enough for a large room. I do not care how. Just need to know how. Thanks!
It all depends on the type of home theater system you're talking about and what type of inputs you have. The typical HTiB (Home Theater in a Box) has no entry necessary to add a microphone. However, some models in the range (even low) will have RCA inputs to add an auxiliary source. That said, it would not be able to use the microphone and play a DVD in the DVD player at the same time. This would require a machine set up for karaoke.
