It is a Pro-1201 ROX passive speakers power or Technical?

Looking for a cheap decent speaker thats the disease is able to put in my bedroom next year. I want to be an asset (with motor) one so I can avoid all this extra receiver ........ If you have any other speakers that are less than 200 please feel free to suggest!

Just so you know, assets and liabilities has nothing to do with whether or not feeding. Non-Powered Speakers are also passive and active. What do you mean? Passive: there is a crossover unit built inside the speaker designates the appropriate frequencies to the speakers. It requires only a power source. That's why we are so heavy. Assets: no built in crossover unit leaving the speaker set-up to the consumer. True Active Loudspeaker crossovers require a unit to ensure that the right freq. go right speakers and also require a power amplifier for each speaker. Therefore, a three Way Speaker would require three power amps / channels. Tapco makes some decent speakers.
