Is it possible to control power of a subwoofer volume remote?

I have a powered subwoofer that I use with my home theater / audio system. Without But I have to constantly adjust the volume of the sub, so do not bother the neighbors in my apt. complex when listening to music on my MP3 player. "I can sub Volume Control w / o having to get up, get behind the sub and adjust the volume? Possibly a distance of some sort.

The short answer is that time ... if your A / V receiver has a sub-woofer out, is likely to have a level control for the sub to be adjustable from the remote. However, do not expect much of difference and adjust the settings. Two possible solutions: 1. see if your MP3 player has a game for the output level does not have such dramatic differences in volume and 2. there are subs out there volume controls sold.
