Macbook help and firewire connection help.?

Hey everyone, I need help with my decision on buying a apple macbook. For about a year now I have wanted the black apple macbook with 2gb of ram and a 250gb Hard Drive. 2.16ghz or what ever too. But I have noticed they just came out with a newer macbook and its aluminum. But there is a problem, I need a firewire port on it because I own logic pro and I need it for my presonus firestudio project. Audio. Is there anyway at all if i get the upgraded macbook I can get a firewire port for it that will have zero latency?...even a usb thing will do. Also am I in danger of Mac coming out with a new os or anything of that nature anytime soon? I don't want to buy something that will be updated next month and I don't get my moneys worth. Thanks.

No way in the world to get a Firewire port onto an Aluminum MacBook.

Get a refurb Blackbook or move up to a MacBook Pro
