Recording Studio Condenser
question Recording Studio?
Im wanting to start a recording studio in my room but I do not know what I really need. I have a Boss BR 900CD, and MCA SP1 Condenser Microphone, 15 foot cable XLR. Im on a budget, so I need cheap equipment, and yes people told me that you get what you pay for.
You do not say what you want to save. Are you a tape of a man or something? The BR-900CD 2 title documents to a max of time, so more than two microphones to start would be was. Start recording with what you have at the beginning, when you need more than two microphones (so you can adjust levels on different instruments), with two microphones, at least you can have a singer, an instrument (Or rest of the group), and adjust the levels of both. You can set each player separately (using split), and adjust the levels of thereafter (currently common days). I am more accustomed to the situation type jam band, where members like to play together, then you'll need a blender, then you can live your mix elements on your Boss (the ability to mix 8 tracks simultaneously for mixing later down is expensive)
