Shut Up and Let Me Go: The Ting Tings Lyrics and beats that blew the World Away
Katie White and Jules De Martino of the indie pop band, The Ting Tings, surprised everyone with his new brand of sound and eclectic grooves. Their debut album, We Started Nothing, takes us on a whimsical journey techno pop original songs, no doubt Ting Tings clever lyrics and innovative musicality that the industry has long been clamoring for.
The Ting Tings came from the local bars Salford Mills. Among the break-ups with other bands and disappointments with studies, Jules and Katie were tired and betrayed by the music industry. Jules come from the communities South of England went north and found the blonde singer, Katie White study at Leeds University. The two quickly hit it off and decided to form a band that adheres to the melody and style to create. Since both are from a similar but different enough education in music, Katie and Jules seemed to balance each other in the impulsivity and seriousness that also translate into the music they create. Therefore, the Ting Tings was born.
While in the process of establishing a sound, duo decided to experiment with different styles and genres until finally carved its own niche. Despite having been writing music together for four years before the success of the band, it was only when Jules returned to his first love, drums, and Katie started playing the guitar that finally nailed the sound they want. Katie had a poor attempt at playing with a bad player, D chord and began to throw in some tunes drawn from the crack of his imagination. The product of this serendipitous event led the composition of the successful United Kingdom, Great DJ. Thereafter, the two have worked accidentally reinvented the style followed by the design of other songs Ting Tings with lyrics and distinctive rhythms, Shut Up and Let Me Go, That's Not My Name and Fruit Machine.
After so much exposure on TV UK radio campaigns, replete with concerts, and quit a DJ band members, the band finally signed a major label Columbia Records and finally released their debut We Started Nothing supply. Before she knew it, these songs are already playing in the background, appearing on television programs popular in America, and becoming the soundtrack to the club Friday night many teenagers and music fans worldwide.
His songs give listeners a new Gender mysterious rhythms that recall the 70 days of the disco boom, and yet, still fresh enough to belong to the jukebox of the 21st century. A true product of an artistic and innovative band, We Started Nothing marks a turning point of European music that promises outside the box and funny music.
White and De Martino stand out among other European artists, not only through a sound and a diverse mix of various genres in his polished album. Above all, have created a mark on the RnB and pop often dominated the British music scene through its holistic approach to music. Without siding with his songs out of complexity, White and De Martino to clarify their songs to fun and entertainment without compromising your taste in music reading and writing.
One defining characteristic of his music it's powerful vocal performance by Katie White. The distinctive quality of his voice complements crazy Jules' drum beats and his arsenal of synths and loop machines. Another design would be its simplified approach to the music hidden behind clever arrangements and intelligent music technology. This approach to the musical never bother to fly or gravity equivalent to songs that have been hooked.
The song by The Ting Tings can not be poetic, but the rhythms and loops are sufficient to be marked as a representative of the funk / pop / techno dance genre. An eclectic musical experience to enjoy, the Ting Tings are willing to take over Tables and rigs in album sales. People all over the world, despite the language barrier, are starting to sunbathe in the notes swirling this band has brought to the table and recognized as one of the most popular artists of the year. And with a name like that, who would not?
