Speaker Cabinet
A solid work 4ohm guitar amp with a speaker 8 ohm or 16 ohm cabinet?
I have a 15watt (75watt peak) 4ohm Amplifier guitar and I want to connect the output to a 16ohm/8ohm (switchable) cabinet. Is there a problem?
Well, apart from the obvious fact that his non-ohms overlap and may harm your computer, the main problem is that your guitar amp is too weak to work through another speaker as well. It can be seen better, but I'm willing to bet the sound is not as good as if you just use your amp. Try raising your little amp head height so it can be hear better, or maybe even the microphone amplifier in the concerts. If the cabinet is a typical ob 1960th 300W Marshall cab, then you can change it to 4 ohms. Set the switch to mono and the left input, the right says 4 ohms at the top.
