Why did one of my RF P212S4 sound so bad?
I bought two new brands on ebay that P212S4s NIB. I installed them in a box collection of 1.25 m3 Dual RF specifications perfectly indoors. One of the speakers works beautifully with the right of reply awsome out of the box. The other, however, has repsonce little-no amount of energy to be pumped into it .. I have an RF 400.4 amp so each speaker is getting 200rms (also a perfect match). They are connected identicaly and I mixed and match the settings of the amplifier without any help. The bad speaker cone, appears to be grinding against the coil voice or somthing when it vibrates. If you had to push down on the cone, which remains stuck in the CV. I wondered why one speaker works great and the other is very bad. Is it defective or I just broke the bad and slowly work out the kinks?
It is defective or was damaged during shipping. You should demand a replacement.
