Studio Acoustic
What is the difference in sound between an electric and acoustic violin?
I am teaching violin look at me, my current computer sweetening compositions orchestrated. I am currently under discussion, whether or electric violin with an acoustic music does not. I would have tried with the live violin strings, but I want it sounds authentic, as if I actually recorded in a studio (I have room for the reverb), and I'm not sure if the sound a very different acoustic from electrically. They are both similar price, so that is not really a problem. My music is strictly orchestral. Can someone give me advantages and disadvantages of each? Thanks in Advance.
I play the guitar myself, and I know it's nothing like the natural sound of an instrument of precision wood (especially something as sensitive as a violin), may be but without the right acoustics, microphones, etc. for the recording, a direct electronic feed your equipment choice, the better. Pro: Accoustical are much more reassuring in resonation. Con: their quality is limited by the environment. Pro: Electrical are good for direct RSS feeds. Con: they can not be compared with clay high quality acoustic violin.
