A new version of line echo cancellation (LEC) Software from GAO
Toronto, Canada - GAO Research Inc. (www.GAOResearch.com) recommended updating line echo cancellation (LEC) software (G.165), which is a part of the telephony software suite GAO. G.165 Line Echo cancellation software helps remove electrical line echoes caused by conversion hybrid 2-to-4 wire telephone lines. This software is designed for integration with other software modules such as DTMF encoder / detector to improve performance. It is commonly used in the communication of long distance voice and other applications, especially in the related links with networks of satellite and intercontinental long-distance circuit.
GAO G.165 software online echo cancellation is performed in assembly or C and is easily implemented through two functions required by the user to perform echo cancellation and initialization operations. This software is compliant with the recommendation ITU G.165 and is ideal for full-duplex operation.
