TomTom shares Soar on unexpected profit in first quarter (Update1) 26 April (Bloomberg) - TomTom NV, Europe's largest manufacturer of portable navigation devices, soared in Amsterdam trading after reporting an unexpected profit in the first quarter as it sold more mapping instruments car companies and increased revenues from content and services.
