Active Subwoofer
"I can use my sub active and a passive subwoofer?
Subwoofer I have a Panasonic home theater in a box system. It contains the amplifier for all speakers then run on the back of the submarine. I have to change the source of unity and intention to purchase a separate AV receiver, but want Use existing speakers for the appearance and cost reasons. So the question, I have been inside the sub and found the connections to the speaker. "I can just connect this output sub av receiver (assuming this is amplified rather than a line level output)?
yes you can! just make sure no connection to the speaker other than its lead from the subwoofer Amplify, and old does not eat! Do not expect miracles if ........ as the old sub and amplifier were designed to work together and probably sound better than setting up your new .......
