when speakers, how to calculate the volume?
I am planning to build a speaker cabinate two Eminence Kappa 12a speakers and a framework regional cooperation Titanium 850 driver. He speaks on behalf of the Eminence speaker called for a volume of 112 liters. Since I have two speakers have the volume needed to double? Drivers Do you also require a specific amount of volume. I can, t find a lot of volume for the driver specifications.

You can also try using Eminence Designer Design Program speaker box but you may get better results using one of the other software applications. Under the procedures (b) or (c) simply plug in the Thiele-Small parameters obtained from the manufacturer's specification sheet (or better yet their own measures) in the calculator or software design of the box necessary. I recommend that you allow multiple Eminence Kappa 12 drivers to share a single volume cabinet. If you are using tables then multiplying the volume enclosure internal calculated (V.sub.B) for a single driver for 12 Kappa Kappa total number of 12 drivers sharing the same enclosure volume, ie, the volume of the enclosure by two Eminence Kappa 12 drivers will be double that of a single conductor. (Note: 112.1 liters internal volume is NOT recommended enclosures for a single driver Kappa 12 however, is used to calculate the proper enclosure internal volume.) Depending on the amount of internal reinforcements and absorption of sound is used, it should increase the total estimated volume enclosure internal (V.sub.B) for approximately five to ten percent (5-10%) to compensate for any reduction in volume due to internal protection components and as a design safety margin. It is important to note that when starting with a large enclosure is much easier to optimize the internal volume of the 'box' (V.sub.B) pasting blocks carefully manufactured with MDF, plywood, or other rigid material closed cell foam inside the enclosure to (incremental) to reduce internal volume. This allows you to hide screws with wood plugs glued tight fit in place for each recessed screw head, which can be cut (if necessary) and sanded flush with the surrounding surface. Using the case of low or zero VOC adhesive ¹ cover most of the areas largest area within its walls, with 1-inch to 1-1/2-inch (38 mm) thick (flat) flexible open cell acoustic foam. If desired, you can cover (acoustic foam) all other things remaining exposed surfaces within a 1-1/2-inch thick layer about 2 inches (38mm to 50mm) polyester fiber batting. ¹ (If all else fails, in a pinch you can use commonly available 3M Super 77 Spray Adhesive FoamFast or 74 as an alternative.) One final note: I do not recommend you cross the 12-inch Eminence Kappa 12 driver in the RCF Compression Driver N850 above 1 kHz, and if you're using a good quality, high performance (active) crossing, preferably not greater than 800 Hz In fact, the Eminence Kappa 12 drivers fall a little less than a low frequency driver and you should not expect high performance of these units especially with regard to the low output frequency below 80 Hz or less. ############ ############ RESOURCES Eminence Kappa 12 http://www.thielesmall.com/ include / details.asp?
