Is it possible to borrow a guitar for an acoustic guitar case?

I would like to bring my guitar home with you, and I have no hard Case for them. My friend has offered to lend me one, and we think it will fit well ... But they have never seen each other what the chances of it not are suitable? I do not really want to have to buy another case, while I'm gone, and have two to take home ...

The chances that it does not fit are very small. So far, all my guitars fit in any case, I have tried, other than Electric Guitar cases. But it at least worth a try.
