Usb Midi Cable
MIDI USB Midi Cable and Supplies?
I use programs like Jalmus to practice music reading on the computer ... but I can not find a> game port midi cable, so I'm going to have to go USB. So my question is, with a USB midi cable allows me to use my keyboard as a midi device in small programs as Jalmus, Pianomania or MIDISightReader so you can use it to input notes? Thanks
Good for you! With new keyboards, does not even have to worry about MIDI, but I've been in your situation too! I have written music in the past and wanted to connect my old keyboard to my computer. You need a special cable, such as connecting Roland with a USB controller! You first need to determine what type of cable you need to go to a music store (as Tomy Lee) who sells professional keyboards and other instruments. They should be able to sell the right cable and CD with the correct driver on it that you can download or install from the CD to recognize the cable and keypad. For example, my keyboard requires the controller Edirol UM-1. I mention this to them, and this should help to know what you are looking for and sell the right cable and software.
