Track Pro Usb
I want to record live piano music from my electric piano to my Macbook Pro Help?
I have a Yamaha Clavinova CLP-930 and the electric piano-Interface UX16 Usb Midi Cable to transfer music. I can use Garageband '09 for music. I did everything the instructions said, and click on the computer registry, played notes on the piano, not shown in the track notes. I used the software tool "to a new track. Am I missing something?
Have you installed drivers for the UX16 and restart the computer after installation? I have never used the PCL-930, but is there maybe a change in it that reads, "Mac" and "PC"? I know my Yamaha P-90 has one like that on the side next to the MIDI ports. Once installed the drivers, you must enter the GarageBand preferences and check MIDI panel to see if your interface has been detected once it is connected and turned on. Many times when things do not work for me, usually has to do with preferences, or I forget to arm the track for recording. Hopefully it was something simple like forgetting to install the drivers, because that would be easy to fix.
