What power amp should be used?

I'm thinking about getting a pair of Peavey PV118 subwoofers to go with my Peavey PV115 PA speakers. Am J-2500 using a Tapco power amp to run my PA speakers, but I do not think I can not find another Tapco and I do not think I have the money for a Mackie FR-2500. I'm thinking QSC GX5 getting a DBX 223XL and a crossover. The 75-watt amplifier Tapco has more than the GX5. What amplifier should I use on subwoofers? Or does it matter?

Both are devices QSC Tapco and quality. QSC is a bit more at home with power amplifiers then with Tapco Tapco Tascam being the sun. The DBX is also a quality device and should serve you well. Either way the possibility of running the amplifier in bridged mono amplifier for submarine work much efficient and does not need your stereo for submarines. Also, as you probably know that you need to use a good heavy gauge cable to all that power. I'd use anything smaller then 12 Georgia less than a 'run 100. Happy Hitting
