Tweeter Horn
on the impedance of the speakers?
Basically, I am building a Speaker System through the use of modules, etc. My goal is to get around of 70/80W outside the system. I recently purchased a 40W mono amplifier, along with four 40w 90w woofer midrange speaker and two tweeters. but since my goal is to get stereo sound out of a stereo jack on your system, then i buy another amp, crossovers DOS and have the floor and one ring will an amplifier input and the ground floor and another ring to the other stage. and after leaving the amps at intersections, and since the subwoofer is 90W and most sub woofers are mono, could combine the two? not have a lot of annoying interfereance between channels? Thanks for any suggestions in advance and sorry if I'm not sure!
If you have a 40 watt mono amp, then all you'll ever put out is 40 watts in mono. All ratings in the midrange, is the amount of power it can handle without damage. Standing on a platform of 1000kg-rated by magic does not make you weigh 1000 kg.! You will need a Sound System amp to drive a half and first floor apartments. The best system would use an active crossover - essentially a low-pass filter on the amplifier serving the mono subwoofer. If you connect a resistor of each mono Input Channel as close as you can get the input impedance of the crossover, then they are mixed without interfere too much. The traditional use 2-Way Passive crossovers between the amplifier outputs and stereo tweeters and midranges.
