my silky chicken has attacked his first born chick please help?

We never had that problem. Did you incubate a few and then put her? That could be the problem. Either the hatch inside or let the hen hatch them. We never had a problem anyway. I think more eggs hatched that were with the chicken though. But that's just laziness, probably turn the eggs. Keep the chicks alive inside is not hard.
